Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actor from the United States. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for the best female leading role. This was due to her role as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is both an actress and an author. Her film debut came with the crime drama movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred prominent actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her first film She was in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film, written by him, is considered to be one of history's greatest high-school films. Even though the budget for this movie was just $1 million, it grossed more than $50 millions. In the meantime she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. The show was for teenagers that started airing in April of 1980. The actress also appeared in other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where she has a cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has received numerous awards, one of which was an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
