Apryl was determined and committed which motivated her to move in Los Angeles the entertainment capital of the world. Two members left, and the girl group eventually disbanded. In the wake of her relocation Apryl appeared on the American Idol reality show but did not make the top. Apryl tried to audition for a spot in Making the Band. However, it did not go very well for her. Apryl was also featured on Search For The Next Doll to try out for Pussycat Dolls. Apryl was not able to please any of the judges so she was not selected. She later met with a famous singer and was invited to tour as a backup singer. They both decided to become part of the Vh1 show that is a hit Hollywood and became one of the cast's eight original members. The premiere season follows the birth and pregnancy of their daughter Megaa Omari Grandberry. Season two examines her frustrations with and insecurities concerning her new career. Apryl and Omarion did not attend the recording of the reunion show from the second season as he was on tour. On the 7th of December in 2015, Apryl confirmed the two have left the show and would not be returning the next season. Apryl and Omarion welcomed their daughter A'mei Kasuko Grandberry on March 7th, 2016. Apryl made public her split from Omarion four months later. Apryl was on the show during Season 4 when she sat down along with Lil' Fizz, to discuss a B2K reunion. Apryl was back on the show for season 6 which focused on her custody battle with Omarion along with the media speculation and scrutiny around her relationship Lil' Fizz. They confess that they were romantically involved during the show, which puts her at odds with Moniece and the others on the show.
