Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie has been the first female ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media star. It was her fame that made her the first female to win achieved two wins at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Also, she was credited with winning both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and other siblings. At a young age Annie was a fervent sporting fan, and she loved exercising. She took home numerous awards at school events. In 2009 she competed for the first time in a CrossFit match in California. Her performance was impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 (as in 2021). She's 5'7 tall, and weighs roughly 67 kilograms. Annie began her CrossFit journey at the age of nineteen in California. She performed quite well through the first couple of contests. Annie was ranked among Top 10 among over 70. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to win any awards which was why she ended 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. In the following year she took part in her second CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie again won in the CrossFit Games because of her remarkable performance. She was the first female athlete who had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she received a silver-medal and in the year 2021 she won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Today, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the model for a variety of brand names in the field of sports, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is titled "Annie", with over 3,000 users. The channel has videos on nutrition and fitness, as well as the family life.
